Colin Plummer – Coxswain
Colin is currently the longest standing member of crew still serving on the boat.
Colin has just recieved his second Queens Jubillee Medal.
Paul Francis – Second Coxswain
Paul, or Ginge works in the local area as
a telephone engineer and is a RYA Powerboat Instructor.
Andrew ‘Bloggsy’ Smith – Helm
Andrew has been on the crew for several years.
He currently works for the NHS.
Ryan Yerrell – Trainee Helm
Currently holds the ‘Mind My Hair’ award!
Olivia Clare – Trainee Helm
Olivia has been on the Crew since 2013
Jason O’Toole – Trainee Helm & Mechanic
Jason works in and around the village for his gardening business.
Anthony Bravery – Crew
Nickname T-dog, not sure why!
David Haynes – Crew & Mechanic
Nickname Tinker. Computer wiz
Phil Beck – Crew
Phil has a very experienced background in watersports
including surf kayaking.
He lives in the village with his wife and children.
Ian Mathews – Trainee Crew
Nickname Grandad. Husband to Rebecca and Dad to Lily
Wife to Ian and Mum to Lily. We have most of the family!
David Greer – Shore Crew
An experienced sailor.
Bob Francis – Shore Crew
Treasurer, Trustee and Dad to Paul and David
Tony Coleman – Shore Crew
Lowie Simon – Shore Crew
Lowie works for a local haulage firm as a class 1 HGV driver
He is the current holder of the bent prop award.
Nick Alexander – Shore Crew
Nick is a farmer by trade and ex-Coxswain of the Lifeboat.
Nick stood down from Chairman in November 2020 to spend more
time with his young family, but still plays a very active part
in the service.
Krystle Cremin – Crew
Krystle works as a trainee garage mechanic for our Coxswain
Lilly Mathews – Junior Crew
Mum Rebecca and Dad Ian are both on our Crew
Milly Bufton – Junior Crew
Helen Heywood – Operational Administrator
Main job, keeping the Crew in order! Has her hands full!
Pam Tidd – Secretary
Pam has played very active part in the crew for many years
and does a very good job of keeping all of the crew in line at crew meetings
