Mundesley Lifeboat was paged at 17:00 hrs today to assist with the search for a missing vulnerable person from the Mundesley area. The Service in conjunction with Humber Coastguard committed both the main lifeboat and the fast response Arancia lifeboats to the shoreline search. The search continued until 21:00 hrs when the person was found safe and well close to the cliff top in Mundesley village, by one of the land base search teams. Due to the extended search being carried out the Crews on both lifeboats were changed regularly. Coastguard teams from Bacton and Cromer, Norfolk Fire and Rescue, Norfolk Police and the Coastguard helicopter from Humberside were all involved.
