Sunday 11th August 2019

18-30 hrs Mundesley Lifeboat was paged by Humber Coastguard to a report of swimmers in difficulties in the water off Mundesley.   Once launched the Lifeboat Crew found that a jet ski had broken down off Vale Road at Trimingham. The jet ski riders had taken to the water to ‘swim’ the broken down ski to the shore. By the time the Lifeboat arrived on scene all the people were safely on the shore. The Lifeboat Crew checked that all the people were safe and well, then returned back to Mundesley.


Tuesday 30th July 2019

18-00hrs Mundesley Lifeboat was paged to a report of three swimmers in difficulty off Mundesley sea front. Once launched the Lifeboat Crew found the swimmers ashore with the Lifeguards who had rescued all three.The Lifeboat Crew deployed a medic to assess the condition of the swimmers and to hand them over to Bacton Coastguard and the East of England ambulance service.


Wednesday 24th July 2019

Tasked to possible swimmer 1 mile directly off boathouse.   Object was a damaged crab dan.   Launch with good intent.


Monday 22nd July 2019

Member of public walked into station and reported her dad was missing in the sea.   We launched and located him just past Trafalgar Court, he was cold and exhausted and taken on a lot of water.   Ambulance was on scene at our station and the man was transferred to N&N Hospital.

Mundesley Lifeboat crew with the rescued man and his wife and daughter when they visited the station on 25th July to express their thanks for the saving of his life.

Tasked to despondent female off Bacton.   Once on scene Police were there with her.   C/G arrived and the lady left with the Police.


Monday 25th March 2019

Mundesley Lifeboat was called at 18-48hrs by Humber Coastguard to reports of a missing lady who may have entered the sea at Bacton. The Lifeboat launched through heavy surf just before 19-00hrs to carry out a search area defined by Humber Coastguard.   The search was carried out using an infrared night imaging viewer but was hampered by the sea conditions making it difficult to stay close to the shore.   The search area was completed after approximately one hour and the Lifeboat and Crew returned to the beach safely.   The Lady was found nearby by Police, also safe and well.   Other units involved – Bacton Coastguard, Cromer Coastguard, Norfolk Police.


Tuesday 19th March 2019

Mundesley Lifeboat was paged at 19:19hrs to a female in the water off Mundesley seafront. Mundesley Lifeboat was stood down at 19:25hrs prior to launch as the casualty had been recovered by the police.   Also in attendance were the Bacton Coastguard Teams/Police/Ambulance.
