Lifeboat was paged at 18-15 hrs to a report of 4 swimmers in difficulty off Cable Gap Bacton. The lifeboat launched in difficult conditions and was quickly on scene at Bacton. The 4 swimmers had managed to make their own way back to the beach, but the lifeboat Crew were able to assist Bacton Coastguard with providing first-aid to the casualties. Additional Lifeboat Crew were tasked to Bacton by the Coxswain, to assist with re-launching the lifeboat. Other assets on scene were Winterton Coastguard and East of England Ambulance. The Lifeboat returned to Mundesley at 19-00 hrs and closed down.
